Essaouira has attracted people from different horizons. The Portuguese used Essaouira as one of their main harbors to travel to America. In the 18th Century Sultan ... build his Palace next to River Ksab. In 1969 Jimi Hendrix payed a visit to Diabat. We'll follow their footsteps and discover some of the remains of the castle of the Sultan and Portuguese fortifications. We wander across the eucalyptus and mimosa forests and the sand dunes with splendid views on the ocean. On the longer trips we go more inland next to the river and also visit the Berber villages.

Romantic Sunset Trips

Have you ever watched the sun set over the ocean while riding endless beaches on a beautiful stallion? This is an experience that will be engraved in your memories and hearts forever.
If you'd like we can also stop for a little break and enjoy an aperitif together while watching the sun set (upon request and for small additional cost).

Unique Day Trips with lunch

If you're more comfortable on a horse, it's definitely one of the best ways to explore the sights you wouldn't be able to discover on your own (on foot or by car).
We offer day- excursions by horse with a lunch included.
We either go for a pic-nic near the river, sea or in the forest: we pack our own food and drinks and make a nice grill during our break.
We also offer trips where we stop and have lunch either in a traditional beldi house of a Amazigh family.

Trekking in unspoiled landscapes

The journey between Essaouira and Sidi Kauki takes us along the river Ksab and through Berber villages, eucalyptus and argan forests to the beach of Sidi Kauki. If you take more than 2 days we have the opportunity to make excursions in the region of Sidi Kauki along the ocean to discover the waterfalls in Sidi Mbarak, the Berber villages and Cape Sim, or even hike all the way towards Agadir.
These trips guarantuee a unique experience with breathtaking views over the ocean and valleys; close contact to the Berber life style and local people.
Most of our guests describe it as a 'once in a lifetime' experience.
We collaborate with local bed & breakfast accommodations (sometimes with pool!), but can also design a trip in nomadic tents (minimum 5 pax.).
